Things that only happen at Nationals:

• P3 Power Performance: Judges will select stand-out routines for an encore performance and
  our P3 staff!) Selected routines will compete in the P3 Power Performance Showcase.
  Studio families should be encouraged to cheer loudly, as judges take the audience’s
  excitement into account when choosing “Best in Show” winners!\\

• Parent Improv Contest: At P3, improv is our very favorite part of every weekend. We love watching dancers improv so much that we want to see where they get their talent from! Only at P3 Nationals can parents compete in their very own improv contest, alongside other talented dance parents.

​

• P3 “Finale” Performance: Nationals registrants are given the opportunity to participate in our very special “Finale” performance! One of our esteemed judges will take these dancers through choreography and lead them in rehearsals throughout the weekend, performing the exciting finished routine before our final awards ceremony. P3 Dancers will work together to create a routine that showcases every skill level and the special talents of all participating dancers. This is a great opportunity for dancers to meet new friends they’ll see throughout the event and make lasting memories with teammates.​

• Music Video Shoot: At select events, the P3 Finale dancers are given a once in a lifetime opportunity to film their routine in a music video style experience. Professional videographers film and edit the routine to showcase the dancers in a P3 Finale Music Video.  The dancers get a taste of being in a professional video shoot with special effects, lighting, and multiple camera shots and angles.

• Complimentary Master Classes: At P3 Nationals, all dancers who compete can participate in Master Classes, with a different style taught by each of our judges for that weekend. Master classes are a unique experience that allows dancers to experience new teaching styles under unfamiliar instructors, as well as learn skills and choreography that will benefit them in the future.

• Get Your Glow On: Our Nationals awards ceremonies are extra fun with black light dance parties and lots of glowing goodies!

 

• Scavenger Hunts: We at P3 want to make sure each day is full of fun and excitement for the kiddos! One of the little extras we offer are Scavenger Hunts! Each day a new scavenger hunt is posted on our social media. The kids can search around the event using the fun clues to find each item.

• Theme Days: Fun for the whole family! Follow the different themes for each day for a chance to win the P3 Team Participation Award.

 

• Teacher of the Year: Students and parents can nominate a teacher of their choice to win 
  this prestigious award! Nominations can be made at the merchandise table by filling out the 
  form and writing a short summary of why your teacher deserves to win teacher of the year. 
  Only one teacher from each studio can make it through to the next round. Once nominations close, all nominees are posted on the P3 Instagram account and the voting begins! Encourage your friends, family, and studio to go in and vote for your favorite teacher to win “Teacher of the Year”!

• Teacher Station Backstage: lunch, dinner, snacks, cold bottled water, and of course...caffeine!  Grab and go or make a plate - we’ve got your meals covered so you can focus on your dancers!

• Compete for Cash and the title of National Grand Champion!

• Studio of the Year: P3 Staff is honored to present a large check and trophy to the studio who sets an example for dancers and parents alike through encouragement, kindness, and exemplary sportsmanship.
